First Scene Pictures from the Murder Investigation Launched as Joggers Discover Body of 19-Year-Old in West London Park

In a shocking turn of events, a murder investigation has been initiated after joggers in West London stumbled upon the lifeless body of 19-year-old Tyler Donnelly, who had been fatally stabbed. The grim discovery was made at approximately 7:40 am this morning (January 25) in Hanworth Park.

Tyler had departed from his residence on his bicycle, wearing dark clothing, around 9:10 pm on the previous evening (January 24). However, he failed to return home, leaving his family deeply concerned for his safety.

A significant crime scene has been established in the park, with investigators anticipating that it will remain in place for several days as they work diligently to unravel the circumstances surrounding Tyler’s tragic demise.

Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, who is leading the investigation from the Met’s Homicide Command, issued a statement, saying, “Members of the public called us shortly after 7:40 am reporting that they’d found a man’s body in Hanworth Park. We now know that the victim is 19-year-old Tyler Donnelly, who was from Feltham.

He urged anyone with information to come forward, adding, “If you were in the park and saw something, regardless of the reason you were there, please do get in touch. Our focus is on what happened to Tyler and who was responsible.”

DCI Howie also asked for the cooperation of individuals who may have been in the vicinity, stating, “Similarly, if you were driving through Elmwood Avenue, returning home or out walking, did you notice anything? Did you perhaps see Tyler, who was wearing dark clothing, riding his grey bike or did you see him with anyone?”

He concluded by expressing condolences to Tyler’s grieving family and friends, saying, “Tyler’s family and friends are inconsolable after receiving the worst possible news imaginable – our thoughts are with them, and they are being supported by specialist officers.”

As the investigation unfolds, the community remains in shock and mourning for Tyler, hoping that answers will soon be found to bring those responsible to justice.
