Five Men Hospitalised and Arrested Following Dartford High Street Disturbance

In a significant incident that unfolded on Dartford High Street just before 6:20 pm on February 6, 2024, five men were taken to hospital with injuries and subsequently arrested in connection with a public order offence. The event prompted an immediate response from Kent Police, who are now conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the disturbance.

The individuals involved in the incident, three local men aged 26, 27, and 29, alongside two men from Coventry and West Midlands aged 26 and 28, suffered various injuries, including cuts and bruises. After receiving necessary medical treatment, they were discharged from the hospital and taken into police custody. As of now, all five suspects remain detained as inquiries into the incident continue.

A spokesperson for Kent Police provided details of the event, stating, “Kent Police was called at 6.18pm on Tuesday, 6 February 2024, to a report of a disturbance in Dartford High Street. Officers attended the scene where five men were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.” The spokesperson further elaborated on the injuries sustained by the individuals and their current status following the altercation.

In the aftermath of the incident, law enforcement officials are reaching out to the public for assistance. Witnesses who were present during the disturbance and have yet to speak with the police are encouraged to come forward.
