Pensioner Left Fighting for His Life after Collision on the A3100 near Milford in Surrey

Man believed to be in his 80’s taken to hospital with serious injuries after collision in Milford Officers from Surrey Roads Policing are appealing for witnesses after a car and a pedestrian were involved in a collision in Godalming around 5.40pm (11 November). The collision took place on Chapel Lane, opposite Milford village hall involving a single vehicle . The air ambulance was also sent to airlift the man to hospital

Officers from Surrey Roads Policing Collision investigation team have been working at the scene to piece together how the collision took place. Officers have also carried out skid tests on the patch of road. A fire Crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service stationed at Godalming attended and carried out a water down of the area effected in the collision The road is still closed at the junction with A3100 (Portsmouth Road) drivers are asked to find an alternative route, it is expected to be closed for an another hour and be reopened by 10.30pm on Saturday evening. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any dashcam footage around the time in that area is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference P17284890 or report online at .
