Police appeal after three women sexually assaulted on rush hour Central line Tube from Stratford

Police want to speak to this man after three women were sexually assaulted on a rush hour Central line Tube train from Stratford.

Detectives on Thursday said that a man sexually assaulted three women on the busy Tube train from Stratford to Bank between 7.40am and 8am on July 30.

Issuing a CCTV image in connection with the investigation into the 20-minute sex attack spree, British Transport Police detectives said the man pictured “may have information which could help” with their probe.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact officers by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 170 of 30 July 2024.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
It comes as police at the force are probing a string of separate sexual assaults during rush hour at a busy Jubilee Line station.

Detectives at the British Transport Police earlier said it was investigating reports of a string of sex attacks at North Greenwich station between 7am and 8am on Thursday, July 11.
Officers urged victims or any witnesses to the series of sexual assaults to contact them. Police said they believe there may be other victims who are yet to come forward.
