Police Appeal for Information After Men Rob Two Children in Glasgow Park

Police are appealing for information after two children were robbed in Glasgow’s Tollcross Park. The incident occurred between 6 PM and 6:30 PM on Thursday, 18 July 2024, near the burn between Winter Garden and the Children’s Farm.

Two unknown males approached two boys, aged 14 and 13, who were playing in the park. The suspects threatened the boys with a knife and demanded that the 14-year-old hand over his electric scooter. The suspects then left in the direction of Tollcross Road with the scooter.

The suspects are described as black males in their late teens to early twenties, with English accents. One suspect has brown hair and was wearing a black Nike jacket, black Lacoste tracksuit bottoms, and green Nike 95 trainers. The other suspect was wearing a black Berghaus jacket, black trousers, and grey trainers.

Constable Lauren Moffat said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw the males in the park, to please contact us.

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference CR/0272141/24. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
