According to reports, the young girl was walking along Marle Hill when an unknown man, who had been walking ahead of her, stopped to allow her to pass. However, as she attempted to walk past him, the man allegedly grabbed her, pushed her into nearby bushes, and pinned her to the ground.

The victim screamed for help, prompting the suspect to flee down the hill in the direction of Dark Lane and London Road.

• Age: Approximately 18 to 25 years old

• Build: Slim and athletic

• Facial Features: Round face with short fair hair

• Clothing: At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a white or light grey jumper, black shorts, long socks, and trainers.

Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or anyone who may have relevant CCTV or doorbell footage from the area to come forward. If you have any details, please contact the authorities on 101 and reference incident number 436 of May 13.
