A train travelling between Treherbert and Cardiff Central on Tuesday, August 6th, was forced to halt at Ton Pentre due to a disturbance caused by a group of youths.
The train, which had set off at 8:42 PM, encountered trouble when the group began playing loud music, causing disruption to fellow passengers. When challenged, the youths responded violently, assaulting a member of the train staff and a member of the public who had intervened.
