Travellers with the Carvans and lorries have frustrated local residents by setting up on land at the rear of the Westridge Centre in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

They turned up three days ago. Apparently they told people that a lorry driver had swerved but that can’t be true. “I had been past there on my bike the day before and they weren’t there then.
