Wiltshire Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses Following Pedestrian-Car Collision in Swindon

The Wiltshire Police is seeking witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian sustained leg injuries in a collision that occurred in Swindon. The incident took place on Sunday, January 21, at approximately 5:30 pm, involving a silver BMW, believed to be a 5 series model.

According to preliminary information, the silver BMW was making a turn from Whiteman Street into an alleyway situated behind MBROS Convenience Store. During this turn, the vehicle struck a woman in her 30s, resulting in potentially serious leg injuries for the pedestrian.

What makes this incident even more distressing is that after the collision, the driver of the silver BMW left the scene by reversing back onto Whiteman Street and subsequently driving away without stopping to render assistance.

In light of these events, the Wiltshire Police are making an earnest appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with any information they may possess. Any details, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could prove crucial in aiding the ongoing investigation.

Members of the public who can provide assistance or relevant information are encouraged to contact the Wiltshire Police via their official website. Alternatively, you can reach out to them by dialling 101, and when doing so, please reference the incident using the following code: 54240007674.

The police are eager to speak with witnesses who can shed light on the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident. Your cooperation and information may play an essential role in helping law enforcement establish the facts and bring those responsible to justice.

As the investigation continues, the Wiltshire Police Department expresses its gratitude for the public’s support and assistance in their pursuit of a thorough and just resolution to this case.
