Police are appealing for witnesses after a tragic incident on the M4 Westbound resulted in the loss of a woman’s life on Saturday, February 10.

The collision, involving five vehicles, occurred between Junction 19 (M32) and Junction 20 (Almondsbury Interchange). Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, a woman in her 60s succumbed to her injuries at the site of the crash.

Efforts are underway to support the family of the deceased during this difficult time. Next of kin has been notified, and a specially-trained family liaison officer is providing assistance and comfort to them.
