Wolverhampton Man Escapes Custody: Public Urged to Assist in Locating Steven Wardle

Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Steven Wardle, a 46-year-old man who escaped lawful custody. Wardle had appeared before Wolverhampton magistrates on June 6, facing charges related to drugs and domestic abuse.

According to reports, Wardle was remanded into custody following his court appearance. However, due to a medical issue, he was taken from the court to New Cross Hospital. It was during this transfer that he managed to escape from private security staff just before 5pm

Anyone with information about Steven Wardle’s whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities immediately by calling 999. When reporting, please quote reference number 20/480322/24.

The police advise against approaching Wardle directly, as he may pose a risk. Instead, members of the public are encouraged to provide any relevant information that could aid in his swift apprehension.
