Woman Sexually Assaulted by Flasher at Busy London Tube Station

A woman was sexually assaulted by a flasher at Bank underground station in the early hours of Saturday, June 15. The incident occurred at approximately 3:20 AM.

The woman was approached by a man who attempted to assault her while exposing his genitals. During the struggle, the man snatched her phone, but she managed to retrieve it before escaping. She sustained injuries to her head, elbow, and knee during the altercation.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released an image of a man they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries. They are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has any information to come forward.

Witnesses or those with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 86 of June 15. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns about safety on public transport, especially during late-night hours. Authorities are working diligently to identify and apprehend the suspect to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of commuters.
