A woman who tragically lost her life after being stabbed in Bexley has been identified as 33-year-old Lelia, according to local sources. Lelia was found injured in Penhill Road shortly after 4 pm on January 16, which marked the onset of a harrowing ordeal for her and her loved ones.

Initially, Lelia was rushed to a nearby hospital and received critical medical treatment. However, her injuries proved to be insurmountable, and she sadly succumbed to them on January 23.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the heartbreaking news and stated that Lelia’s family has been notified of her passing. Specialist officers are providing support to her grieving family during this immensely difficult time.

The incident in which Lelia was injured has sent shockwaves through the community, with an outpouring of grief and tributes at the scene. Candles, bouquets, and handwritten notes have been left as a heartfelt homage to her memory.

One of the notes reads: “So heartbreaking. I am so sorry this has happened to you. Sleep tight and may you rest in peace.”

Another message conveys the sentiment of enduring love: “Lelia, you will always be remembered for the loving, brilliant mum you are. We will never forget you.”

A suspect in the case, Tony Curant, 33, residing on Penhill Road, was apprehended on January 20. He was subsequently charged with attempted murder on January 21. Tony Curant made an appearance at Bromley Magistrates Court on January 22, where he was remanded in custody.
