Joseph McCann Faces Fresh Assault and Kidnap Allegations
Joseph McCann, 34, from Aylesbury, initially charged for the kidnap and rape of a woman in Hertfordshire, is now hit with a slew of new offences. He was set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 May.

McCann’s nightmare crime spree spans from 21 April to 6 May. Charges include:
- Hertfordshire: Kidnap and rape
- London: Two kidnaps, four rapes, false imprisonment, sexual assault of a girl aged 13 or over, and an assault involving penetration with an object
Ongoing Investigation and Court Appearance
The accused will appear via video link at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 May. The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command remain on the case, with more charges possibly on the horizon as the Crown Prosecution Service reviews further evidence.
