Witnesses sought to Herne Bay burglary

Officers investigating a report of a burglary in Herne Bay are appealing for witnesses to come forward. It was reported that between 8pm on 19 August and 4am on 20 August a burglary was carried out at a property in Canterbury Road while the victim, a woman in her 90s, was asleep upstairs. Nothing was reported stolen however a mirror was damaged. Anyone with information regarding the burglary is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/049070/18. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555 111.
