Chicago police have issued a community alert seeking assistance from the public to identify three individuals wanted in connection with a deadly homicide that occurred in the city’s Greater Grand Crossing neighbourhood.

According to authorities, the incident took place on the evening of June 14 in the 7600 block of South Drexel. The victim, a 69-year-old man identified as Reffes Brown, was in the lobby when an unknown assailant fired shots around 17.40. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

In an effort to solve the case and bring the perpetrators to justice, Chicago police released photographs of three individuals believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting. They are urging anyone who can identify the suspects depicted in the photos to come forward with any information.

The public is encouraged to call Area Two Detectives at 312-747-8271 or submit an anonymous tip online at cpdtip.com if they have any knowledge about the suspects or the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
