Major Crash involving Six Vehicles on A331 Blackwater Valley between Ash and Aldershot

Surrey Police have tonight closed a major road following a six vehicle collision. Emergency services rushed to scene and whilst Police closed the road
Fire crews from Fareham and Guildford used specialist cutting equipment to free a trapped woman from the wreckage of one vehicle involved in the pile up.
The incident happened just before 8pm on Thursday evening on the busy commuter route. Surrey Police put a full closure in just after 8.30pm on the a331 between Ash and Aldershot. The Surrey Air ambulances was also sent to the scene and landed at Aldershot Park with the land ambulances and a number of officers and the hazardous Area response team who had treated a number of people at the scene. A spokeswoman for Surrey Fire and Rescue said that a number of resources has been sent to the scene and they are currently working with Police and medics. More to Follow Shortly
