Officers onboard the marked Met Police were making attempts to stop the vehicle that rammed their patrol car and made off on North End Road on Saturday afternoon.
The officers on board are understood to have escaped serious injury.
A road closure and investigation have been launched along with an area search has been launched
A spokesman for the Met Police said:
At about 17:10hrs on Saturday, 8 April, officers attempted to stop a car in the vicinity of North End Road in Fulham.
The vehicle failed to stop and collided with a marked police car, causing it to overturn.
Additional officers, the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service attended.
Two officers have been treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the suspect vehicle has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences. He was taken to a central London police station where he remains in custody.
The road is closed to traffic.
