Acid attack victim was attacked after drug deal went wrong

A Southampton court has heard today that drug dealing brothers Billy and Geoffrey Midmore purchased drain cleaner containing highly concentrated acid in a revenge attack after a 2,000 drug deal went wrong in Southampton.

The prosecution on the first day of the put in court that because the drug deal went bad the two brothers decided to enact their revenge by permanently scaring Carla Whitlock.

Carla Whitlock was out on a night out with her partner Matthew when the attack took place at the Turtle Bay in the City of Southampton.

Billy Midmore, 22, is on trial at Southampton Crown Court accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. At a previous hearing his brother Geoffrey Midmore pleaded Guilty to throwing face melting liquid into the face of the mum of Six Carla Whitlock.
