In a significant operation against vehicle theft and illegal chop shops, teams from Kent Police Tactical Operations, Dedicated Source Unit Maidstone, and Kent Roads Policing have successfully uncovered a chop shop operating in Maidstone. The raid resulted in the apprehension of two individuals and the recovery of two high-value Mercedes vehicles, one of which had been reported stolen just hours prior to the operation.
The police operation, which targeted the illegal dismantling and sale of stolen vehicle parts, found the suspects red-handed within the unit. Alongside the recovered Mercedes cars, numerous other stolen car parts were located, indicating the scale and sophistication of the chop shop’s operations.
