Man arrested after Dartford postboxes painted gold – UKNIP

Kent Police have arrested a man in connection with a series of incidents where post boxes across Dartford were painted gold, with one even sporting a black-and-white cow-like pattern.

The unusual spree occurred between Wednesday, January 31, and Monday, February 5, 2024, with the majority of the incidents concentrated in the Temple Hill area. In total, 26 postboxes fell victim to the gold paint, an act classified by Kent Police as criminal damage.
