The Isle of Wight community is in mourning following the passing of Nikki Flux-Edmonds, the founder of the local charity Kezi’s Kindness and mother of 6-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds, who tragically lost her life in 2016. Nikki, a beloved figure on the Island, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
A Legacy of Resilience and Kindness
Nikki was diagnosed with cancer in December 2023. Despite the aggressive nature of the disease, which had already spread to three areas, she exceeded the initial prognosis of nine months, fighting valiantly to gain an additional four months.
Her passing was announced on Saturday morning through a heartfelt Facebook post, which described Nikki’s bravery and strength during her illness.
Turning Tragedy Into Hope
In June 2016, the Island was shaken by the devastating loss of Nikki’s daughter, Keziah, who was tragically killed by her father in their East Cowes home. The unimaginable event left a lasting impact on the community.
