Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the M27 that occurred on Saturday, 1 February 2025.
At approximately 10:30pm, police received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M27, between junctions two and three. It’s reported that a silver Mercedes SLK collided with a black VW Golf, which was stationary on the hard shoulder at the time of the incident.
The occupant of the VW Golf, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, including injuries that are potentially life-threatening and life-changing.
Police are calling on anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who has dash cam footage of the incident, to come forward. They are also seeking information from anyone who may have seen either vehicle while travelling along the eastbound carriageway towards junction three of the M27 prior to the collision.
A 44-year-old woman from Wraysbury, Windsor and Maidenhead, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol above the legal limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
