A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession with intent to supply following a foot chase by police in Stepney, east London. The incident occurred at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, when officers on patrol in Stepney Way spotted the man and pursued him on foot.
The suspect was detained and subsequently arrested. He has been taken into custody at an east London police station, where he remains as investigations continue.

A spokesman for the Me Police said: Police were on patrol in Stepney Way, E1, when they pursued a man on foot at 9.49am on Thursday, 7 November.
He was detained and arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.
He has been taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody.
