Police Close Two lanes of the M27 Motorway and Rownham Services Eastbound following serious collision
Police have closed of two lanes of a major motorway this evening in following a serious collision. Two lanes of the main carriage and the service off slip have been closed on the eastbound carriageway whilst police conduct their investigation. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 9pm this evening to a two vehicle collision. Fire crews from St Mary’s and Redbridge attended the collision and made the vehicles safe and carried out scene safety. There are a number of police vehicle at the scene along with two ambulances and a rapid response paramedic car that is parked in the hard shoulder. A number of people have been treated at the scene and taken away by ambulance to hospital.
