Sad news after sudden death of Popular Police officer
Death of our much loved Hampshire Constabulary colleague PC Martin Jacobs John Apter from Hampshire Police Federation issued the following words : It is with a heavy heart we have to inform you that PC Martin Jacobs has passed away after being taken ill at home on Wednesday 2 August. Martin was based within the Hampshire Police Federation office as the Misconduct Lead. His untimely death has shocked us all. Martin was engaged to Amber, who he is pictured with. Amber is receiving love and support from the Federation and the Constabulary. Martin was well known to many officers and his compassion and desire to help people was his strength. He was an invaluable part of our team and he will be missed terribly. Policing is a family, when we lose one of our own the impact is felt far and wide. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amber and Martin’s family at this difficult time.
