A3 Southbound Closed following Collision involving a Heavy Goods Vehicle
The A3 in Hampshire is closed southbound between the A325 and A272 near Longmoor due to a collision. A large recovery and clean-up operation is needed and the road is expected to remain closed for some time. Traffic is being diverted locally around the closure via the ‘Solid Triangle’ route. Leave the A3 southbound at the Liphook interchange. At the T junction turn left and join the B2171 (London Road). Follow for approximately 8 miles. At the A272 London Road junction, join the A272 and follow to Sheet roundabout. Use the 2nd exit and join the Sheet interchange link road. Continue for approximately 1 mile to the A3. Use the 1st exit to rejoin the A3 southbound. Road users may wish to allow additional time for their journey if planning to travel in the area.
