Victim Named and Pictured in Peckham Shooting: Teenager Charged with Murder

A 17-year-old male has been charged with the murder of Jesse Lloyd-Smith in Peckham. The teenager is set to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court later today.

Jesse Lloyd-Smith, aged 20, was fatally shot in East Surrey Grove on Wednesday, 10 July. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries and died the following day. His family is currently being supported by specially trained officers.

The investigation into Jesse’s murder is ongoing, with detectives working tirelessly to piece together the events leading up to the shooting. Previously, a 21-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy, and a 17-year-old female were arrested in connection with the case and have been released on bail.

The Metropolitan Police have released a picture of Jesse Lloyd-Smith to help in their appeal for information.
