Breaking:Man Charged with Attempted Kidnap of 14 year old School Girl in Portsmouth
Detectives in Portsmouth have this morning (Friday, October 7) charged a man with attempted kidnap with the intent to commit a sexual offence and possession of a bladed article. Roger Seath, 41, no fixed abode, has been charged and held on remand. The charge comes after police received a report of a suspicious man following and trying to stop and talk to a 14-year-old 1 on Kent Road in Portsmouth just before 4pm on Wednesday, October 5. The Police’s advice to the public remains the same. Stay alert but not alarmed. Remain vigilant and remind 1 and teenagers of stranger danger. Report anything or anyone suspicious to 101, or call 999 in an emergency.
