Four arrests have been made as officers continue to investigate the death of a man in Whitstable.

Officers attended an address in Sittingbourne during the evening of Wednesday 8 April, where two women aged 22 and 24, and a 26-year-old man were all arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A 21-year-old man from Sittingbourne was also arrested on suspicion of the same offence on Sunday, 5 April 2026. They have all since been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives made the arrests after Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday 3 April 2026 to reports of a serious assault in Belmont Road.

Patrols and paramedics attended the scene, where a 19-year-old man was found with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene. It is believed that he was known to the offenders.

 

Detectives would like to locate Tobias Agbaje and Kieron Barnes, as they may have information which could assist enquiries.

They are believed to have links to Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury, Sittingbourne, Ramsgate and London.
