The father of 28-year-old Stephanie Fletcher-Smith, who was discovered deceased on the M1 southbound carriageway near junction 22, has released a heartfelt tribute to his “beautiful girl.” Stephanie’s body was found on the morning of Thursday, January 18, and her death is not considered suspicious.
In a statement issued on Monday, January 29, Stephanie’s father expressed the profound sorrow of the family, stating, “Our hearts are broken with the passing of our beautiful girl; she was the sweetest person we knew.” He went on to highlight Stephanie’s compassionate nature, mentioning how she consistently shared love, kindness, and understanding with others, even during her own struggles. The family hopes she has now found the peace and happiness she deserves.
