Ian was riding his orange KTM Superduke motorcycle away from the Strines Inn on Mortimer Road at 4.57pm when he collided with a stone wall.
Ian was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries. Despite the presence of emergency personnel, the 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family said of this photo, “his bike was his pride and joy.” “Ian adored this photograph.
Police are still looking for anyone who witnessed Thursday’s collision and the driver of a white Audi that was travelling in the opposite direction at the time.
