Chaos unfolded in Newhaven on Monday evening after a driver refused to stop for police, sparking a dramatic pursuit.
Chopper Called In to Track Fleeing Vehicle
At about 7.40pm on 23 March, officers spotted the suspicious vehicle and tried to pull it over. The driver ignored commands and sped off. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) quickly deployed a helicopter to assist ground teams in the chase.
Vehicle Abandoned, No Arrests Yet
Shortly after, police found the vehicle dumped nearby. No suspects were caught at the scene, and investigations are still ongoing.
