A 48-year-old woman was hospitalised following a dog attack on Eglinton Road near Ripon Road just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13.
Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service, responded swiftly to the incident. On arrival, they found the woman suffering injuries to her arms and legs. She was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital, where her current condition is yet to be confirmed.
The London Ambulance Service provided additional information, stating: “We were called at 7:58 a.m. to reports of an injured person in Eglinton Road, Woolwich. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, members of our Tactical Response Unit (TRU), an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance. Our crews treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital by road.”
