An investigation by Met detectives has resulted in a man being jailed for raping a woman in Tower Hamlets using phone data

Delroy Ogiste was convicted after officers gathered evidence which proved he had attacked the woman at a hotel in Bethnal Green in April 2022.

The 43-year-old, of Higham Road, Haringey, was found guilty of two counts of rape and one count of strangulation at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, 29 September.
