Upon receiving a distress call, officers from the local police force, in collaboration with ambulance service personnel, rushed to the scene to attend to the aftermath of the collision. Two pedestrians involved in the incident sustained severe injuries and were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
