Arson probe launched after blaze rips through Woking Pub

An arson probe has been launched by Surrey fire and rescue after a blaze has ripped through a derelict pub in Woking. Fire crews from Woking, Chobham, Guildford including the Turntable Ladder and Camberley were called on Sunday evening to The Robin Hood on Robin Hood Road in Knaphill Woking. Police have thrown up a cordon and a joint investigation has been launched between Surrey fire and Surrey Police. Fire crews remain at the scene of the well developed fire and are likely to remain into the early hours of the morning. Crews are using two hose reels and two jets to tackle the blaze that has totally engulfed the building reducing it to a burnt shell.
