Driver escapes serious injuries after ploughing into the front of a New Forest building

A driver has been rushed to hospital and Police have launched an investigation after the White Vauxhall ploughed into the front of a property at the junction between South Street and St John’s Street Hythe in the New Forest Emergency services were called just after 12.30pm today (Saturday) after the driver lost control of their vehicle. Resident have described herding a lough bang and lots of Police fire and paramedics turning up. Officers from Hampshire Police are still at the scene one said. A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We were called at 12.26pm. “The incident involved a single vehicle into a building. The driver is being taken to Southampton General Hospital, but does not appear to be seriously injured. Police say the road remains closed.
