A 30-year-old man from Camden has tragically died after a serious collision on the westbound A12 near the Lea Interchange in Hackney, prompting a major investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
“We are working at pace to identify what happened on the A12 yesterday evening, and would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was in the surrounding area, to please come forward and speak to us.”
Dashcam Footage Could Be Key
The Met Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dashcam footage who was driving in the area between 18:00 and 18:30hrs on Saturday evening.
If you were on the A12 westbound near the Lea Interchange, you may have captured vital footage, even if unintentional.
