Eight fire crews and a specialist command unit raced to a fierce house fire in
Maresfield this afternoon, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) confirmed.
Massive Emergency Response
The emergency call came at 2:11pm on 28 November, reporting flames at a property on Cackle Street, Maresfield. ESFRS launched a large-scale response, sending eight fire engines and a Command Control Unit to battle the blaze.
Thankfully, no one was inside the property. There have been no casualties or missing persons.
Firefighters Battle Flames in Toxic Smoke
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used high-pressure hose reels to wrestle the fire under control. ESFRS issued urgent warnings, telling the public to stay clear of the area.
