Fire crews called to Ashford care home
Emergency services are at the scene of a fire in a bedroom on the second floor of Hothfield Manor Centre in Church Lane, Hothfield near Ashford. All persons have been accounted for and a partial evacuation of the building affected was carried out safely. Crews wearing breathing apparatus using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a large ventilation fan was used to clear the affected part of the building of smoke. More to follow
