Emergency services were called to a fire at a ground-floor flat in Selsfield Drive, Brighton, on the evening of Friday, March 1. Multiple fire crews from across East and West Sussex attended the scene to tackle the blaze, which affected multiple floors of the building.

A spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) confirmed:
“We were called on March 1 at 6.39pm to reports of a fire at a ground-floor flat in Selsfield Drive, Brighton.”
Sussex Police were also in attendance, ensuring public safety, while the local authority provided assistance to any residents affected by the incident.
