Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to an emergency call reporting a fire at a derelict building located on High Street in Northfleet, Gravesend. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Upon receiving the call, eight fire engines, including specialised vehicles such as a height vehicle and a bulk water carrier, were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus swiftly tackled the blaze using both hose reel jets and main jets. The technical rescue unit was also present to provide additional support.
