An investigation is underway after a violent stabbing incident left a woman and two young children injured on Friday, October 25. Police were called around 5:35 pm to First Avenue, Dagenham, following reports of multiple individuals suffering stab wounds.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, responded swiftly. Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 30s and two children – an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy – with stab injuries. All three were transported to the hospital for treatment, where they remain. Thankfully, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
He confirmed that, at this stage, those involved are believed to have been known to each other, and police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the attack. The area remains cordoned off as officers conduct critical investigative work, and residents can expect an increased police presence over the coming days.
