Early reports suggest two fishermen were pulled from the water at Shoebury Common Beach. Both individuals are currently receiving medical attention from emergency personnel.
The Coastguard helicopter, along with HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) from the East of England Ambulance Service, are coordinating with the Essex Air Ambulance to provide assistance.
