O2 network down on the Isle of Wight! Customers in UK furious over coverage problems

Furious O2 customers on the Isle of Wight have vented their frustrations as one of UK biggest mobile networks faced major network problems on the Island this morning. Thousands of affected phones were simply failing to show any data connection or being able to make or receive calls due to the outage that is still ongoing. Many customers have highlighted the problems with services on social media as they complained of being unable to use internet services or make calls on their mobile phones. O2 said in a statement on its website: “Our technical teams are investigating reports of issues when using data. Voice calls are now working OK.
