A woman has sparked public outrage after being caught on CCTV stealing a charity collection box from a busy chip shop in Stirling.

The incident took place at Vincenzo’s Fish and Chips,  Cowane Street, where CCTV footage shows the woman removing a bright pink charity box from the counter while other customers were present. The stolen funds were intended to support vulnerable women in need, making the theft particularly upsetting for the local community.

“Shame on You,” Says Owner

The owner of Vincenzo’s took to social media to condemn the theft, writing:

“Whoever you are, I hope you see that I am making you famous, and I will continue to do so until I get a call from Police Scotland telling me that you have been arrested. Shame on you for stealing from unfortunate and needy women, shame on you.”

The heartfelt post has since gone viral, with many locals praising the business for standing up for charitable causes.
