Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the A417 near Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire, in which a woman has tragically died

At 12.13pm yesterday, officers were called to reports of a collision between an HGV and two cars, a silver Mercedes and a red Mercury on the A417 at the junction with the B4508.

As a result of the collision, a 72-year-old woman from Baulking, died at the scene.
