A skilled police dog played a crucial role in apprehending three individuals involved in the theft of a Range Rover in St Leonards. The vehicle’s owner reported the theft from his driveway in the early hours of Saturday, March 2. Quickly, the stolen Range Rover was located by Hastings Response officers at Crowhurst Recreation Ground.
As the police approached, the suspects fled, with one being promptly captured by the responding officers. In a remarkable display of teamwork, PD Tsar, a four-year-old German Shepherd, alongside handler PC Toby Spires, successfully tracked down another suspect concealed within thick brambles.
