Metropolitan Police officers are investigating whether a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Kingsbury Road is connected to a police chase that occurred shortly after the collision. The tragic incident left a woman in her 60s dead after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in the early hours of Thursday, November 7.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said, “Detectives are investigating a fatal collision at Kingsbury Road, NW9. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a female pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop, and despite the efforts of medics, the woman sadly died at the scene.”
