The tragic incident left a woman in her 60s dead after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in the early hours of Thursday, November 7.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said, “Detectives are investigating a fatal collision at Kingsbury Road, NW9. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a female pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop, and despite the efforts of medics, the woman sadly died at the scene.”

The police have set up a crime scene in Kingsbury Road, and cordons remain in place as investigators work to piece together the events. They are appealing to the public for assistance, particularly from anyone who may have dashcam footage or information about the driver’s identity.
